1、
Good day and happy Monday, one and all. It's hard to believe, but somehow October's appeared as if out of nowhere AND it's fallen on the start of a new week. I don't know about you, but I find that really satisfying.

*Ahem*, on with our usual line-up, it's time to check out what sales are still live and worth your time. We don't know how long these games'll be going cheaper for, but we know they're a good deal.

Whatever you fancy, whether it's an awesome adventure, cracking management sim, or something more strategic, have a lookie-look through this list to see if anything stands out.

2、
It's not often that games tell sad stories. Especially on iOS. It's what makes Lethargy stand out.

It's a first-person narrative-driven adventure about a girl who "committed a rash act," and as a result cannot wake up.

This leaves her in a world of dreams and memories in which you'll wander through the game.

Presumably, you'll find out what happened to this girl by the end of your journey. I'm guessing it's not going to make you jump for joy.

Still, it has some tranquil islands and mysterious caves filled with glowing mushrooms to explore. So it's not all dark and gloomy.

If you're curious enough to want to try Lethargy out then you can purchase it for 79p / 99c on the App Store right now.
Soul Knight(Unlimited gems)
As announced on Twitter, the current version of Bastion available on the App Store is set to be delisted in early November. After then, it will no longer be updated or available for purchase. But fret not, an updated version of Supergiant’s indie classic will take its place.

The new version comes with several changes, including improved support for newer devices (iPhone X and 11), various bug fixes, and the option to play in Simplified Chinese. It’ll also be free-to-try, much like the original Xbox LIVE Arcade version, which is a nice touch.
This fall, we'll be launching an updated version of the iPhone/iPad version of Bastion, for free for a limited time! As part of this change, the currently-available iOS version will be delisted. Details here:https://t.co/Gb4XzmGePJ pic.twitter.com/Edqzs0n5Yv— Supergiant Games (@SupergiantGames) 23 September 2019Once your free trial ends, you’ll have the option to make a one-off payment of $4.99 to unlock the rest of the game. That said, in celebration of Bastion’s 10th anniversary, the updated version will be free for a limited time.

The reason for the delisting is that Supergiant’s distribution deal with Warner Bros. (Bastion’s publisher since 2011) is now coming to an end. Due to technical limitations, the team hasn’t been able to switch publishers for the current version of the game. Supergiant will therefore publish the updated version itself.

Seeing as the updated version is listed as a new game, your cloud saves and Game Centre achievements won’t carry over. The new version will also require a device running iOS 9.0 or later, meaning the original iPad, iPod Touch, and iPhone 4 won’t be supported.

Here’s the link to the full Q&A. And you’ll find the soon-to-be-delisted version of Bastion available now over on the App Store.
Check out our news section to discover the latest, and greatest, games.
3、
If you haven't watched The Tonight Show as of yet you might not know that a week before Super Mario Run debuts on iOS you'll be able to play a demo of it in Apple Stores worldwide.

Aside from Pokemon GO, Super Mario Run is probably one of the most talked about mobile games of the year. Now with journalists and gaming enthusiasts giving us their opinion on it, including our own Mark Brown, it looks like the game is shaping up to be as good as we thought it would be.

Super Mario Run will be free-to-play for the most part but you can pay a lump of $9.99 to unlock the full game should you want to.

According to Mr Reggie Fils-Aimé, president of Nintendo America, this Thursday you'll be able to get your hands on a demo of Super Mario Run worldwide by visiting your local Apple Store. How exciting it that?

4、A BOY was stung by a Nettle. He ran home and told his Mother, saying, "Although it hurts me very much, I only touched it gently." "That was just why it stung you," said his Mother. "The next time you touch a Nettle, grasp it boldly, and it will be soft as silk to your hand, and not in the least hurt you."Though Reason weep, and cry it is thy last.
-
Niantic has posted their three-strike discipline policy on the company blog for all to see. In a new move towards transparency, the Pokemon GO developer walks players through the grounds Niantic has for banning players. The company has had a system in place for banning players in the past, but no one really new for sure how it worked.

The three-strike system is actually pretty self-explanatory, increasing the level of disciplinary response each time until the offender is banned completely after the third incident. Niantic wants to give people the benefit of the doubt, acknowledging that everyone messes up from time to time. However, depending on the behavior, Niantic may issue an immediate account termination without warning.

The first strike is a simple warning that you will see in-app. Niantic may also set-up a few in-game hurdles. Folks hit with a first strike may not encounter rare Pokemon in the wild, nor will they receive new EX Raid Passes.

The second strike ups the ante with an account suspension. Suspended players will be notified of their account’s status when they sign into Pokemon GO. The suspension lasts for about 30 days. Failing that, if you make it to strike three, your account will be terminated indefinitely.

Transparency in these matters is always a good thing, and Niantic has made it clear that suspended or banned players are always able to appeal their case in the event that they are wrongfully punished. Over on the Silph Road reddit community, fans seem to find the policy quite reasonable, and are applauding Niantic’s willingness to communicate.

You can read the full blog post on Niantic’s site right here. What do you think of the three-strike ban process?

-
Yokai Dungeon is a beautiful looking pixel art roguelike from Neutronized Games, the team who brought us the wonderful Super Cat Tales. Now they're back with a roguelike where you defeat enemies by pushing various items onto or near them such as blocks or bombs. It looks very cute.

As the name implies Yokai Dungeon is inspired by Japanese Folklore. You'll even start initially playing as a Tanuki, which is a Japanese raccoon. So that means you'll be a raccoon facing off against an array of demons — including the best type of Yokai, a Kasa-obake, which are basically possessed umbrellas if you're not au fait with Yokai's, or haven't played Nioh.

Roguelikes make for potentially perfect mobile games. They normally consist of short playthroughs which makes them perfect for the commute and the level and item randomisation mean that it'll be different every time you play. Yokai Dungeon looks to be no different with a wide array of items that can be seen in the trailer below.
!
