What is AR(augmented reality)?

Augmented reality is the integration of digital information with an individual’s environment in real time.  Unlike virtual reality, which creates an entirely artificial setting, augmented reality employs the environment and overlays new info.

Augmented reality apps are written in special 3D apps that allow the developer to connect cartoon or contextual electronic information within the computer application into a augmented reality “mark” in the real life.  When the AR app or browser plugin of a computing device receives digital information from a marker that is known, it begins to do the code and layer the image or graphics of the marker.

AR software for smartphones on average include things like global positioning system (GPS) to pinpoint an individual’s location and its compass to find apparatus orientation.

Virtual Reality Augmented Reality

One of the most significant confusions on earth of augmented reality could be the difference between augmented reality and virtual reality.  Both are assuring growth and are getting a lot of media attention.  What exactly is the difference between virtual reality vs. augmented reality?

What is Virtual Reality?

Virtual reality (VR) can be an artificial, computer-generated simulation or diversion of a real life environment or situation.  It immerses the user by making them feel like they are experiencing the reality firsthand, chiefly by arousing hearing and their vision.

VR is typically achieved by wearing a headset like Facebook’s Oculus outfitted with the tech, and can be used prominently in two Distinct manners:

To create and enhance a fanciful reality for gaming, entertainment, and even drama (for example, computer and video games, or 3 d pictures, head mounted display).

To boost training for real life environments by creating a simulation of reality where people may practice ahead (for example as flight simulators for pilots).

Virtual reality is possible through a programming language known as VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) which can be used to develop a succession of images, and define what sorts of interactions are easy for them.

What is Augmented Reality?

AR is progressed into apps and used on mobile phones to blend components into the real life in a way that they enhance one another, but can be told readily.

Virtual reality and augmented reality are all great samples of interactions and experiences fueled by the desire to become immersed in a simulated land for entertainment and play, or to bring a fresh measurement of interaction between virtual devices and the real world.  Alone or combined together, worlds-both real and virtual equally is undoubtedly opening-up.
